Default Sagbraw 2010 Newbees

My husband (John) and I (Ruth) will be riding SagBraw for the first time this summer. We've been riding seriously for about 5 years. This will be my first tour, John's 3rd. John has ridden NY State Erie Canal Tour twice and bikes 20 miles round trip to work, April to November. I've done two 25 miles fun rides in the past year. 2008-2009, I frequented the W.O.& D Rec. Trail that runs from Wash. D.C. to Purceville, Va.

We live in Oswego, NY which is famous for it's Lake effect snow accumulations off Lake Ontario during the winter. Here's what I deem Oswego's best ride.

We both have two Treks a Hybrid and a Street model. Haven't decided which one(s) to ride for Sagbraw but we're leaning towards the street bikes.

We are empty nesters, mid-50s, and grandparents! We are looking forward to Sagbraw and meeting fellow biking enthusiasts!
